Wildfire Credit Union Employees Raise Funds for Local Non-Profits

Throughout 2016, Wildfire Credit Union employees have enthusiastically volunteered to pay to wear jeans in support of a number of local non-profits in the Great Lakes Bay Region. “Wildfire’s Jean Days are a long standing tradition at the credit union and are always very successful. It is a great way for our employees to support area charities that do so much to help others in our communities. We make sure that our members know what organization we are supporting when we are wearing jeans to continue to heighten the awareness of the organization and their need for our support” said Michelle LeBlanc, Marketing & Public Relations Coordinator. In 2016, Wildfire employees raised over $10,000. Below are the non-profits that benefited from the Jean Days:

Hidden Harvest - Child & Family Services Sexual Assault Center
Flint Water Crisis - CAN Council of the Great Lakes Bay Region
Diaper Alliance - Children’s Miracle Network
READ - Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Great Lakes Bay Region
Saginaw Survivors of Suicide - Underground Railroad
East Side Soup Kitchen - Wildfire’s Share the Warmth Campaign
First Choice of Saginaw - Great Lakes Bay Autism Center
Do-All - Bay City Children’s Dyslexia Center
SVSU Battle of the Valleys - Shoebox Saginaw
