Share The Love Winner, United Bay Community Credit Union, Enters Second Annual Contest

United Bay Community Credit Union, last year’s winner of the first annual Share The Love campaign from www.LoveMyCreditUnion.org has officially entered the national contest once again. Like last year, the contest, rebranded as the Love My Credit Union® Campaign, asks credit unions from all over the U.S. to create short videos highlighting the good deeds and charitable work the credit unions do within their community. The public is then invited to view the videos at www.VoteLoveMyCU.org, and vote for their favorite. At the end of each month, the credit Union with the most votes in each category will receive up to $5,000 for their charity. At the end of the campaign, the Credit Union with the most votes over all will receive up to $15,000 for their charity. During last year’s contest, United Bay Community Credit Union won both the monthly prize in October, as well as the overall grand prize. Participants who vote are also entered into a drawing to win a $500 prize for them self, as well as a $500 donation to a charity of their own choice.

United Bay Community Credit Union, which serves members in Arenac, Bay, Kalamazoo, Midland, Saginaw and Van Buren Counties, has chosen Michigan Youth Leadership (MYLead) as their focus in this year’s entry. MYLead is a program that aims to positively transform lives by motivating and enabling the youth of Michigan to continuously make a positive impact on their communities through leadership and service.

“MYLead is a wonderful program that works with youth all over the state of Michigan,” said Cindy Esch, Accounting Manager at United Bay Community Credit Union and Group Facilitator for MYLead. “We encourage everyone to check out our video and help us win this donation for this great cause.”

Voting for the Love My Credit Union® Campaign is open from October 1, 2016 through December 16, 2016.
