McLaren Bay Medical Foundation hosts its first annual “Dinner Around the World Event”

McLaren Bay Medical Foundation will host the first annual Dinner Around the World Event on the evening of Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center, 614 Center Ave. Bay City, MI 48708.

Twelve countries will be represented and offering authentic cuisines to attendees. Participating countries include: America, Austria, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Mexico, Pakistan, Philippines, Thailand, and Turkey. Cultural entertainment, cash and wine raffle and a live and silent auction will also be part of the event.

Tickets are $50 per person or $150 per patron couple (includes 2 event tickets and name in program). Raffle tickets are also being sold: 1 for $10 or 3 for $25. Prizes are first prize $1,000, second prize $500, and third prize $250. All proceeds from this event will be applied to the McLaren Bay Medical Foundation’s Behavioral Health Campaign for renovations to the Behavioral Health Unit at McLaren Bay Region. The Foundation has made a pledge of $578,500 toward this renovation. This unit, in its original state since the hospital was built in late 1979, is in dire need of an upgrade. These upgrades include new paint, carpet, bathrooms, patient rooms, nursing station area, dining area for patients, recreation room and a family visiting area.
