Rehmann COO Stacie Kwaiser recognized on DBusiness’ 2016 ‘Powered by Women' list

Troy, MI – Rehmann COO Stacie Kwaiser, CPA, has been named to the 2016 DBusiness “Powered by Women” list. Each year, DBusiness spotlights female business leaders who are driving profits, adding employees and creating new opportunities in Southeast Michigan. Kwaiser and seven other industry leaders were honored at a special breakfast on August 30 at the Great Lakes Culinary Center in Southfield, Michigan.
“I’m grateful to be recognized by DBusiness’ ‘Powered by Women’ alongside such a distinguished group of women,” said Kwaiser. “This program highlights dynamic women and their progress toward equal leverage and opportunities in the workforce. I’m also very fortunate to work at a firm that is purposeful about enabling the success of the women on its team.”
Kwaiser assumed the role of Rehmann’s COO at the start of 2016. Since then, her leadership has fostered the continued business growth and professional development of Rehmann’s team of 800 associates. Her focus on developing specific niches has helped drive business, while her efforts to support her team in increasing efficiency and delivering exceptional client service has improved profitability.
"Stacie has been with our firm for two decades, and during this time she has consistently demonstrated true leadership characteristics,” said Rehmann CEO Randy Rupp. "During her tenure, she served on the firm’s audit and assurance team and as a regional managing principal, and played a vital role in developing some of our leadership training programs. Additionally, she is an active member of Rehmann’s Women in Networking council and is dedicated to mentoring our emerging leaders.”

Kwaiser’s mentoring activities extend outside of the firm, as well. She was previously a president and board member of the YWCA Great Lakes Bay Region. Kwaiser also supports professional organizations, such as the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, where she started a three-year board of directors term in September 2015.
