Look Good Feel Better

Look Good…Feel Better is a non-medical, brand-neutral public service program that teaches beauty techniques to cancer patients to help them manage the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. Sessions include hands-on instruction on make-up, skin care, nail care and suggestions for using wigs, turbans and scarves while undergoing treatment including fashion advice from Stacy London on how to work with body and skin tone changes.

The next program is scheduled for Monday, July 18 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Karmanos Cancer Institute, 1st floor conference room, 3140 West Campus Drive in Bay City.

This is a free program from the American Cancer Society in partnership with Personal Care Products Council Foundation and Professional Beauty Association. Stringent testing and closely monitored guidelines assure each kit provides gentle products for women beginning, during and following cancer treatment. All sessions are facilitated by trained, licensed cosmetologists = all who are American Cancer Society volunteers. To register, please call 1-800-227-2345.
