ELECTRIC REBATE SCAM ALERT
March 22, 2016 – Bay City, MI – The City has recently been informed that several business customers have been contacted by an individual who identifies himself as Vernon from Midwest Industrial Lighting claiming to be representatives of Bay City Electric Light & Power. He is using a rebate platform in an effort to obtain information to sell products. Midwest Industrial Lighting does not represent Bay City Electric Light & Power or our commercial rebate provider, Franklin Energy. DO NOT give Vernon or Midwest Industrial Lighting your personal information. If you are in doubt, hang up, and call Bay City Electric at 989-894-8349.
Remember: Bay City Electric Light & Power will NEVER phone solicit customers for a rebate application or to sell products.
