Temple Theatre Presents: FNI’s Annual Fundraiser Starring American Idol Winner Scotty McCreery

Saginaw, Michigan—The Temple Theatre is set to host Field Neurosciences Institute’s Annual Fundraiser Field of Hope Close to the Cure starring Scotty McCreery on September 26, 2014 at 8:00 PM.

Scotty McCreery is one of Country Music’s hottest new stars. Starting his career by not only appearing on the highly acclaimed and popular reality TV show American Idol but being crowned its tenth winner in spring 2011. Scotty’s rendition and winning song on American Idol “I Love You This Big” became the highest debut single recorded by the Billboard charts ending up certified gold. In the whirlwind of his career he has had album sales topping 1.6 million and has performed for President Obama, sang the national anthem at the World Series, performed in the Macy’s Day Parade and put on shows from coast to coast. In the midst of all this 20 year old Scotty is also enrolled part time at North Carolina University focused not only the success of his career but also his grades.

Field Neurosciences Institute (FNI) is a charitable, scientific, education, not-for-profit Corporation with the mission of prevention, early diagnosis, care and cure of neurological diseases, disorders and injuries. FNI engages in research projects to advance the boundaries of knowledge in the neurosciences and sponsors educational programs to keep practitioners up to date in the latest neuroscience developments. FNI also strives to inform the public of neurosciences and to foster the prevention of neurological diseases, disorder and injuries. Proceeds from Field of Hope, Close to Cures will be used to purchase an in vivo imaging system, which will enable researchers to explore the cellular basis of disease and determine the response to various therapies in living organisms.

Field of Hope Close to the Cure Fundraiser is being held at the Temple Theatre September 26, 2014. The fundraiser portion will include a strolling buffet dinner and a performance by American Idol winner Scotty McCreery at 8:00 PM. Tickets for the buffet/show starts at $125 and are still available and can be purchased through FNI offices 989-497-3117. Show only tickets are $45, $55, and limited $70 tickets which can be purchased now at the Temple Theatre, on line at www.startickets.com or www.templetheatre.com, over the phone 800-585-3737, or in person.

Temple Theatre is located at 201 N. Washington Ave, Saginaw, Michigan. Parking for this event is available at 515 N. Washington Ave, with shuttle service sponsored by the Ramada Inn. Concessions including a full bar are available on a cash only basis.
