Event Description: Venture out to Chippewa Nature Center for the monthly Families in Nature program series! Join CNC’s naturalists for this outdoor program to explore the wonders of Michigan’s seasons. Spend your summer afternoon IN the river! Meet Interpretive Naturalist Michelle Fournier at CNC’s Canoe/Kayak Launch to explore what lives in the river. We’ll be turning over stones and using nets to get an up close view of the river's inhabitants, including clams, crayfish and caddisflies. Bring sturdy water shoes (old tennis shoes work great) and clothes that can get wet. Life jackets will be provided. FREE | All Ages, under 18 w/adult Chippewa Nature Center
