Disability Network of Mid-Michigan works with individuals and businesses to help people with disabilities live independently in accessible and inclusive communities. All proceeds benefit our independent living and skill-building programs. When you support Feathers and Fedoras: - A teenager with disabilities builds the necessary confidence and skills to transition to adulthood, working and living independently. - A veteran, living with a newly acquired disability, better adjusts to civilian life and receives peer support from other veterans with disabilities. - A senior citizen finds affordable adaptive equipment and home modifications that allow them to remain living independently. - Workplaces are more accessible and employers are encouraged to hire people with disabilities.
