Event Description: This Saturday, February 18th, visit the Saginaw Art Museum to view the MAEA Region 11 Student Exhibition, which showcases artwork in a variety of media from elementary, middle, and high school students in Saginaw, Gratiot, Tuscola, Huron, and Sanilac Counties. After getting inspired by the colorful, innovative, and fantastical works on view, create your own dreamcatcher with these qualities in mind. Meanwhile, learn about the history of dreamcatchers and their significance to the state of Michigan, and use yours to add some pizzazz to your home during the bleak winter weather! This activity is provided free of charge to children ages 15 and under, and is free with regular admission for anyone over 15 ($3 for students or seniors; $5 for adults). Please note that young children must be accompanied by an adult. All art materials will be supplied by the museum. Certain materials may become hazardous if used improperly - always follow instructions given by staff leader. We hope to see you for an afternoon full of learning and fun. Saginaw Art Museum
