From skating and sleighing to lumbering and ice cutting, living through a Midland winter was quite different in the 19th century. Join Kyle Bagnall, Manager of Historical Programs, as he shares tales and images of winter from fur traders and missionaries, surveyors and lumbermen, farmers and townspeople as they coped with incredible snow, cold and hardships before the modern conveniences we now enjoy. This PowerPoint program will take place in the Visitor Center. FREE | Ages 12 and up, under 18 w/adult
