Event Description: Join us at SAM the evening of January 4 from 6-8pm for a lecure by Central Michigan University professor, Carrie Euler. Orchestrated in conjunction with the museum's exhibition entitled Academic to Ecclesiastical: Architecture in Cambridgeshire, England, Euler's lecture will address religious life in Medieval England and will examine how it evolved in the 15th and 16th centuries; thus providing insight into the daily lives of people who occupied these edifices. The lecture will also cover the development and implementation of various architectural styles at Cambridge. Euler received her B.A. from the College of William and Mary in 1995, her M.Litt. from the University of St. Andrews in 1996, and her M.A. (1999) and Ph.D. (2004) from Johns Hopkins University. She joined the faculty at Central Michigan University in 2006 Saginaw Art Museum
