Event Description: Birds have much more than warm downy feathers to ward off the cold temperatures and long nights of winter. Many species wintering in northern climates have a variety of adaptations enabling them to survive weather extremes, reduced food supplies, shorter days and competition. Interpretive Naturalist Jeanne Henderson will present this indoor program and share some of these fascinating adaptations. FREE | Ages: 9 and up, under 18 w/adult 400 S Badour Rd Midland, MI 48640
