Goals & Objectives
The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce is a fast-paced organization that is leading the business community in the right direction. Chamber policy and program development is guided by a 25-member volunteer Board of Directors and implemented by a professional staff. The Chamber agenda is divided into four areas of action represented by divisions. Numerous volunteer opportunities exist for interested Chamber members to serve on committees and work groups within these divisions.
Business Assistance & Activities Division:
Provides networking opportunities and business development activities for member businesses. Committees include: Sales Leads Roundtable, Small Business Council, Golf Outing and Agribusiness Council.

Education/Workforce Development Division:
Organized to support workforce development and business education programs in the community. Committees include: Business & Education Partnership Council and Connections Task Team. Short term opportunities for volunteers to assist with education programming are available.

Membership Development Division:
Responsible for the continued growth and well-being of the Chamber membership, cost-saving benefit programs, network and communications activities. Committees include: Membership Development Council, Membership Retention Team, Energize Bay Area Young Professionals Network and Ambassadors Club. Short term opportunities for volunteers to assist with membership are available.

Public Affairs Division:
Works to ensure a positive governmental policy, political and legislative climate for business growth and development; also focuses on community and economic development and provides leadership training opportunities. Committees include: Leadership Development Council, Community & Economic Development Council, Manufacturers Council and Government Action Committee.
